Introduction: The grapes for our 2025 Kukeri Sauvignon Blanc are proudly sourced from Hall Vineyard, located in the cooler southern third of the Russian River Valley. This exceptional site is defined by its distinct microclimate, where crisp, fog-kissed nights preserve the grapes’ vibrant natural acidity. As the morning sun breaks through, warmer daytime temperatures gently nudge the fruit toward peak ripeness, unlocking fresh, bright fruit flavors and intense aromatics.
Winemaking: Harvested in mid-September, the grapes were whole-cluster pressed into stainless steel tanks for cold settling. After racking, the juice underwent a slow four-week fermentation at 58°F to preserve freshness and delicate aromatics. The wine was then aged on fine lees for five months with weekly lees stirring, enhancing texture, complexity, and mouthfeel. Gently filtered and bottled at the end of March, it showcases vibrant varietal character and crisp, expressive freshness.
Tasting Notes:Refreshing and expressive, the 2025 Kukeri Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant yet beautifully balanced, offering excellent structure and texture. The nose opens with lively aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, and melon, layered with notes of grapefruit, white flowers, and papaya. On the palate, bright acidity and fresh fruit flavors unfold into a harmonious blend of energy and complexity. The finish is long and refreshing, highlighted by crisp acidity and subtle grassy herbal notes that leave a clean, elegant impression.
Enjoy with Family and Friends!
Cheers!
