Introduction: The 2022 Kukeri Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is coming from Windsor Oak vineyard, located in Russian River Valley AVA. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are coming from the lower block of the vineyard where the cooling effect of the coastal fog is providing perfect growing condition.

Winemaking: The grapes have been harvested at end of August and whole cluster directly pressed in stainless steel tank for settling. Racked and slow fermented for 3 weeks at 59F. Aged on fine lees for 4 months and weekly mixing the lees to build the complexity of the wine. Filtered and  bottled at the beginning of February 2022 to keep the freshness in the wine.

Only 80 cases produced.

Tasting Notes: Refreshing and delicious, our 2022 Kukeri Russian River Sauvignon Blanc is intense and well-balanced wine with great structure and texture, on the nose lemon peel, gooseberry and guava flavors with notes of grapefruit, white flowers and papayas, which leads into a unique balance of acidity, freshness, and complexity. Long and lingering with bright acidity and notes of grassy herbs on the finish.
