Introduction: The grapes for our 2024 Kukeri Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Notre Vue Vineyard, located in the heart of the Russian River Valley AVA. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from the lower block of the vineyard, where the strong influence of coastal fog and cool morning temperatures creates ideal growing conditions. These natural cooling effects extend the growing season, preserving fresh acidity, vibrant aromatics, and varietal purity, while allowing the fruit to develop layered flavors and elegant balance.

Winemaking:The grapes were harvested in mid-September and whole-cluster pressed directly into stainless steel tanks for cold settling. After racking, the juice was slow-fermented over three weeks at 58°F, preserving delicate aromatics and freshness. Following fermentation, the wine was aged on fine lees for four months, with weekly lees stirring to enhance texture, complexity, and mouthfeel. It was then gently filtered and bottled at the end of February to capture peak freshness and vibrant varietal character.

Tasting Notes: Refreshing and expressive, the 2024 Kukeri Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is an intense yet beautifully balanced wine with excellent structure and texture. The nose opens with vibrant aromas of tropical fruits, gooseberry, and guava, layered with notes of grapefruit, white flowers, and papaya. On the palate, these flavors unfold into a distinctive harmony of bright acidity, freshness, and complexity, creating both energy and depth. The finish is long and lingering, highlighted by crisp acidity and subtle grassy herbal notes that leave a clean, refreshing impression
